Where Peace Takes Root
Sacred Moments offers forest bathing and nature-based mindfulness practices that invite you to slow down, breathe deeply, and encounter the sacred in creation. Through retreats and guided experiences, we create space for renewal, reflection, and deeper connection—whether with God, yourself, or the natural world around you.
December 20 2025 from 1:30pm-4:00pm
Umstead State Park
Join me for a slow, peaceful walk as we honor the longest night of the year, the Winter Solstice. We'll pause, breathe, and experience the beauty that only winter offers. A moment of stillness in a busy season. As the holidays ask us to speed up, nature invites us to do the opposite: go gently, go slowly, go inward.
Group and Individual Forest Bathing Sessions
Join a 2.5 hour group walk or schedule a one-on-one walk with a guide who facilitates a connection between people and nature, promoting well-being through mindful engagement with the natural environment.
Midday Mindful Moments: One Hour Session
Step away from your desk & into nature for an hour of deep restoration. This guided lunchtime forest bathing session is a gentle, mindful walk designed to help you slow down, quiet your mind, & reconnect with the nature.
Nature will hold you!

"Forest bathing with Jess brought a sense of calm and connectedness that I had not experienced in a long time. I don’t often take time to sit with nature and truly soak in all it has to offer both physically and spiritually.
Jess set up a beautiful morning and experience that I could never have done on my own and didn’t realize how much I needed. It is an experience I would recommend to everyone, young and old."
